Interview: Suncoast Cabs

Eli Ten Dam is the Operations Manager at Suncoast Cabs. Based in Marcoola, their 380 active drivers service the entire Sunshine Coast area and are an essential part of our local transport system. Eli took time to talk to us and tell us more about their brand.

Tell us a bit about your business, and the services you offer?

We provide flexible “point to point” transport that gives people a level of mobility which is not offered by other services such as trains and buses. Our cabs are critical to the business and social lives of locals and visitors.

When did Suncoast Cabs start?

The Sunshine Coast used to have several small taxi companies. In 1984, we joined forces to create one major service provider that would take care of the region.

What are your goals for the future?

Our goal is to provide efficient, professional, friendly service to our clients, drivers and network partners.
